By mixing in the Schnoodle, we are Groodle breeders aimed at providing a healthy, fun to own dog that’s a little different than the ordinary.
Size of our mix Groodle Puppies
Our puppies are sized between the Groodle giant and the Schnauzer mini to give the best of both worlds.
At around 44 to 50 cm in height and 14 to 20 kg in weight our Schnoodle/Groodle puppies are almost small enough to fit on Dad’s lap but big enough to be a “real” dog.
In many families there is one member who prefers big dogs, and another who would rather have a smaller dog. We believe our “Grauzers” will be the best of both worlds and present the perfect compromise to please everyone.
Temperament of our mix Groodle Puppies
Want a dog with a little bit of cheek, while retaining the trainability and gentleness of the Groodle?
Then just add Schnauzer!
Schnauzers are territorial watch dogs with a natural drive to chase off intruders or vermin.
The Groodle tends to be a gentle family pet, safe with children and small animals.
Both are easily trained.
The Schnauzer adds playfulness, cheek and a little bit of naughty to the typically placid, but boring, Groodle.
Schnoodle/Groodle Coat
We only use non-shedding lines as parents of our special Groodle puppies.
Unlike some Groodles, our puppies are guaranteed not to shed, thanks to the Schnauzer influence. The Schnauzer is one of the most hypo-allergenic breeds in the world.
With a view to producing a unique looking canine companion, we also use the straighter-haired wavy coated Groodle mums rather than the curly alternative.
Combining this with the straight coat of the Schnauzer will give us many Schnoodle/Groodle pups with a distinctive straight coarse coat.
Schnoodle/Groodle Puppies Colours we expect
We are expecting our first litter in July 2022 and are very excited to see what colours the mix of Groodle and Schnauzer will produce!
We imagine there may be a mix of cream puppies (mum is a large cream Groodle) and salt and pepper puppies (like the Schnauzer) due to the Schnoodle influence.
One thing is certain: Our special Schnoodle Groodle puppies will be utterly unique!
